British Airways. They didn't charge for the meal, alcohol, or complain if I laid down on three seats. Or stole a first-class pillow when the attendants weren't looking. Their attendants were awesome people.

I had a similar experience flying to London, but I think it was United maybe. I was late checking in coming back too and they took me out of line and escorted me to the plane. I was the last passenger in the last row and had to do the walk of shame, but was grateful to be on the flight.

delta was ok, about 15 years ago. Hawaiian airlines is great if traveling from the west coast to Hawaii.

United from Newark to Amsterdam. The guy at the gate took it upon himself to upgrade me to an economy plus seat with extra leg room because I was seated next to a baby. When I got on the plane I was the only person in the row so I sprawled out and slept on the 3 seats.
