What is your dress code like at work?

Next week I start a new job

At my last job pretty much anything went as long as you were in scrubs.
The dress code stated no piercings, offensive tattoos, no fake nails.
But they were really lax, alot of nurses had piercings & fake nails or nail polish.

I liked this alot because I could wear ultra cute scrubs & on weekends would wear my nose rings (had to wear long sleeves due to my tattoos being labeled as offensive I have a cupcake and ice cream cone on one arm and stars on the other)

my new job starts next week

everyone's scrubs are color coded... dont get me wrong very smart Idea
but I'm stuck with gawd awful grey also I can no longer wear my hair up due to having gages and various piercings in my ears

I'm very excited for the new job but not so much for the dress code

what is your dress code like?

Scrubs as well, in 5 different colors with the clinic logo embroidered on them, we can wear any of those 5 colors with each other doesn't have to be the same top and bottom. We have plenty of people who have tats and piercing that show so no worries there. I use to work some where with scrub tops in the same boring grey color and two different pant colors and that was it, so boring, at least I get to mix it up a little now.

Pants or shorts and collard shirts. Hats are fine as long as there is no text (unless it is a brand we carry), same for shirts. No saddles or flip flops.

I work in childcare. There's no real dress code.. basically anything goes as long as it's covering and appropriate to wear around small children.

it's pretty casual for an office building. Sometimes I think too casual by what my coworkers wear.
