I also love goth, industrial, folk, and folk rock. Classic rock is my favorite style of rock. I listen to classical music most often.

My absolute favorite band is The Door's which is considered a combo of rock and the blues. I listen to them so much they play in my subconscious.
Usually I am in the mood for something heavier. I love Slayer, Kittie, SoulFly, and many more heavy bands.
I only refuse to listen to Pop, Rap, and Hip Hop. Though when I was a teen I did listen to this because it was the norm. I really didn't like it. I would have fit in better as an 80's girl.
I love country music. But real country like Blue grass! LOL That is my roots! My family reunion has fiddles and some good old country music.

I like bluegrass, I don't like country. It's mostly a lyrics thing, I can't stand the lyrics of most country songs. They play country at the barn I work at and it just makes me so irritable. *lol*
I also don't like jazz of almost any type, which my SO finds mind-boggling. XD I can think of one musician I like who does fusion jazz.
Pop also irritates me because of the lyrics, but it depends, some aren't too bad.
If it has lyrics, they can't be inane, or I get all irritated. Hahaha.

Not many country fans. I've been to my best/funnest concerts that were country. Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, Taylor Swift and Zac Brown Band put on the BEST shows. I always have so much fun. I like the bluegrass stuff too but I don't like, jam to it lol.
I hate rap, it just gets on my nerves. I can't believe I used to blast that crap in my car like 9 years ago thinking I was "cool". It may be because I'm older now but I just HATE how degrading it can be to women and I'm not some hardcore feminist. I hate how most of it talks about drugs, prison, killing/murder, constant cursing and slang. "Fucking" women, cheating on them, like women are a dime a dozen or an object of pleasure for men. PLEASE, shut up already!
I also hate the heavy metal, scream most of the time you can't understand and/or get a headache.

I honestly could never pick a favorite. I listen to classical most, and have season tickets to the Oregon Symphony, Portland Opera, and Oregon Rep Singers. But at home I listen to a very eclectic mix, heavy on classical rock, industrial, folk rock, goth, and classical, among other things. Really couldn't decide.
