I like red ink pens because they are unusual but,I probably wouldn't write a letter to someone in red ink.

Just black because it's all business and usually everything else requires a double take for me, except blue.

I work at a medical office where people have to sign in their cars if they're parking, and one guy freaked out because we only had a red pen to offer him. He works in the stocks and said it was bad luck... What would have been bad luck was if he didn't register his car and it got towed...

I prefer blue but it actually depends on the way the pen writes. It has to be smooth so I like the paper mate blue pen where the entire pen is a blue color. I did work with someone a long time ago who completely refused to use anything other than black. It was annoying b/c people always walk off with pens so we always spent the day looking for another black pen to give to her.
