I only chose laundry because I have to go down into the basement to do it and I HATE going up and down a million times, it just ticks me off. However, if I had a first floor laundry room, I would have no problem doing the laundry! I just hate my basement, ugh!
Which chores do you hate to do the most? The ones that you put off til very last, or try to talk your SO into doing?
I love a clean, uncluttered house, but having to put things away...when others make the mess. Well, that is my "pet peeve" and it is the chore I love the least. However, my child is now grown and my hubby has been pretty well trained, so that doesn't happen very often.
I don't mind cleaning, though I really hate making the bed. It's odd.
You know...it took years to realize, but the bed gets messed up every night, and even if I make it, the dogs unmake it pretty fast, so I pull the sheets straight, and unless someone is coming over, I don't bother with the bed anymore.
I HATE dishes!! ONE DAY, I WILL have a dishwasher--SO HELP ME GOD!
It will be the best gift you give yourself and here is where I will say, "you get what you spend". A ten thousand dollar Sub Zero fridge does not keep ice cream one bit colder or make a Coke one bit frostier then a Sears for a thousand dollars, but with dishwashers...WOW. Pricey ones get the dishes WAY cleaner and they are quiet enough you don't know they are running, verses two hours of listening to a motorcycle and waterfall combined in your kitchen. Save your pennies, but keep saving till you can get a good one. You will never regret it.
