If it's causing issues, then it may be an addiction. As in, you don't go to work because you're masturbating. Or you masturbate rather than have sex with a partner. If it's just something you do often, it's not an addiction.

I agree with Kira, if it is interfering with work,school or a relationship then it maybe an addiction. If you masturbate to masturbate to relieve yourself I see nothing wrong with it.

I'll echo Kira. If it interfers with work and relationships you may have a problem. Otherwise it's a fun hobby.
