I like almost any genre of movie, however I have to form a connection with each and every movie I watch. If I cannot relate, or connect on some level with the movie, I find it hard to watch.

Just bought X Men First Class the other day real cheap and watched that, amazing movie. I know not everyone gets into the super hero thing, but I thoroughly enjoyed that movie. Depending on my mood, I like movies based on many things. But I can watch anything that is cheesy and b-grade or worse to something that is all serious with a near perfect script/plot (which is rare).

True! I do the same thing. There are some really cheesy movies I like that others are like "Really?!?!" but to me they are pretty good in their own way. I love X-men even before they where remade over and over again. I love the old ones and the new ones
