I use a liquid body wash. I am kind of picky about my body wash. It has to be a good, moisturizing brand that has shea butter or cocoa butter in it as well as a few vitamins. I won't buy Suave or other cheap brands. I hate bar soap. The residue never seems to fully wash away and it leaves my skin too tight feeling.

Heavily scented products bother me, so I try to use a gentle soap.

I use body wash in the shower, this moisturizing one that helps with how much a shower dries out my skin. For hand washing, and my face on occasion, I use Dove bar soap.

Natural /organic (/castile) bar soaps, many from iHerb. Liquids from most shops are usually 90% SLS/SLES, just really cheap sulfates /surfactants.

We use a natural bar soap that's scented with essential oils. Very moisturizing and feels so much better on the skin than either mass produced bar soaps or liquid soaps.
