What product(s) do you use to care for your skin?

So lately I have had the WORST skin. Its dry but oily and flacky with dark spots. Its hard to fight breakouts and I need help. I have read great things about Mario Badescu and a few other lines but I would love to chat about other options.

What's your skin type and what products do you use for it?

My skin is reeeeeally oily but it also tends to get flaky, especially during cold months. A few months ago it was driving me crazy so much that I finally went to the cosmetologist and now it's noticeably better. She performs facial cleansing, gives me facial massages to get rid of spots, makes different masks. I was also prescribed to use a special apothecary-made lotion, which has no name, unfortunately, and I can only give you the ingredients if you need.
Apart from that, I've been using some products at home, which are not a miracle, but they help. I use Effaclar purifying foaming gel for oily and sensitive skin, some of its targeted breakout correctors and Clean & Clear lotions for oily skin.
Hope it helps!

I usually just use a body souffle myself!

I have combination skin. I usually use an exfoliating face wash in the shower and clean & clear moisturizer once I get out of the shower. It seems to work okay for me.

I also have dry and flaky skin but oily some areas. One thing that helps me is Ponds cold cream. I put it on at night, let it sit for a bit, then gently wipe it off with a face towel. It doesn't clog my pores; my face looks less dull and breaks out less. It's when I touch my face I break out. It's a bad habit.

i have oily skin, & i use neutrogena products. blackhead scrub in the morning & stress control scrub at night, followed both times by an oil free astringent to get what the scrubs missed, & moisturizer w/ a 10 or 15 spf. all neutrogena. works pretty well for me except for a few small break outs here & there during that time of the month.
