For me: I'm contemplating getting started on reading "Opening Up" because I have all day to sit here at work and do nothing. I'm hoping to go see my lover this weekend, and we have a lot to talk about on the topic, but I'm kinda over it right now because we've been on rocky ground over it.

That, and I'm starving and hope this day goes by quickly.

I think you should just start reading the book hahaha. And I really hope you are able to see your lover this weekend and everything goes well.

As for me, I am currently seeking employment. I just passed my boards for nursing, which was stressful enough. Now that I found out I passed I'm kinda like "oh crap, what do I do now?" I need to get a nice business suit so I can start going around handing out my resume..... I don't know where I want to work, probably the first place that hires me seeing that I'm a new grad.

Sorry that's kind of scattered... but that's how I'm feeling...

Im hunting for a job as well. And kinda feel blah because I applied for artist assistant jobs and didn't even get a courtesy, you suck or we found someone email or call. So Im pretty bummed.

Don't be nervous college is a blast. You're gonna meet new people, realize high school isn't be all end all. And have a ton of fun.

My mind is stuck on the "goodies" I want to pack to take with me next week on out road trip to California. No kids, no parents...just me and him in an 8x8 box with a bed and dvd player heehee!!!!!

It has been a long summer with 4 kids and a sick dad, a much needed grown up rendevous!

Right now I'm stressing out over my job interview tomorrow. ACK! Trying to come up with an appropriate outfit that says 'Hardworking and professional adult'. (I look far younger than my years, and feel as though I am sometimes dismissed for this reason.)

I've been thinking about my bills,what I need to get done,what to cook for dinner,and whats been on my mind all day...the guy i've been seeing!I want ti take things to different level and become more serious but I dont know if he feels the same!!

i'm all upset b/c i haven't been getting the points for liking stuff for facebook that i usually get. i also wish i had lots & lots of points b/c i keep finding lingerie on here that i really like.

UG. Crap going on with our school not wanting to allow our little one to ride the bus. The State says the maxium kids can walk is 1.5 miles,(Although every OTHER district in our county buses EVERYONE no matter where they live) We are 1.45 miles from school, so they said NO bus for her, due to one half of one tenth of a mile.

We are hoping her Auspergers and Tourettes Syndromes will help her get on the bus. She gets terrible muscle spasms in her neck and shoulders from the ticcing and movement disorder, and I can't imagine her carrying her 22 lb back pack for 3 miles a day without getting very badly hurt. Also, the Auspies causes her to be a bit naive about things. I'm terrified, as there are THREE sex offenders registered as living between our house and the school. That, and NO sidewalks, plus a set of railroad tracks don't "qualify as hazards" to the assholes in our school district. I deeply regret buying a house in this town.

So, that means I can't get a job, so I can drive her back and forth from school every day? I pray the 504 meeting (special circumstances) goes well. Of course, that will get her on the "Special Bus." She's going to have enough challenges with her odd social skills. Getting off of the Special Bus every morning, instead of the regular bus which goes by our home every day and she has ridden for the last 6 years is not going to help in the being bullied department.

Also, I've had a fucking migraine since Monday afternoon. I can't break it, even with strong meds, massages, ice packs, hot compresses etc. The pain is wearing me down.

That definitely sucks P'Gell. My heart goes out to you and your kiddo. Good luck with the 504 meeting. I'm a former teacher, I know how tough all that fun paperwork and organization can be.

What's on my mind this week..... found out in the same conversation that not only was my MIL diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes (the second in Hubs' family after his brother... I'm worried he's on a similar path), but that my FIL was diagnosed with prostate cancer. And this conversation was had the day I had to put my best kitty pal to sleep because HE had cancer. Bah. Too much cancer.
