I've only been married once and that was short lived. I left after one of our fights 6 months into the marriage lol. I've been with the same booty call for 3 years, although I think that's over now. He has 2 many girls that I refuse to be second to anyone or anything other than his work and his kids. I'm beyond ready to settle down but he's not.

Over thirty wonderful years for us...still in love and still having fun. Find the right person, grow together, appreciate your differences and it can all be a wonderful trip. Sure helps too, if they were, and stay, your best friend!!!

Good for you, number one for getting out of an unsatisfactory marriage, though I'm sad for you that it didn't work out. And number two, for refusing to be second best, (obviously, his children & his work to support them come first in that regard). As long as you got what you wanted out of it for these past 3 years, that's fine, but I think you are worth a heck of a lot more than just being one in a string of available women! Good luck on your search for someone to settle down with!

Until recently i have never been in a relationship that lasten much longer than 6 months, and was usually the one to terminate the relationship. Before i met my partner i was in a terrible "relationship" (being the 'other woman') for a little over a year, but when i met my current squeeze that all changed. We're not into the third year of our relationship (officially on the 2nd of this month ), and it's only gotten better and better, and i look forward to many more years with them!

The longest relationship that I have ever had was just under three years, but quite frankly, we'd been done for a while when we broke up. It was long distance, and it just wasn't working.

I've never really had a "relationship" where I've been in the same place as the person I'm seeing and we've gone out together on normal dates and had mutual friends and all that sort of mumbo jumbo. Maybe one day, though.

My longest committed relationship was two years. After that, I stopped having committed relationships and really haven't missed them. I'm a bit of an odd-shaped puzzle piece and am finding that I prefer to be by myself.
