There are several ways I would rather get the news face to face or over the phone

i pickd fb/email as being worse than text, because if for someone they were unable to call, at least i'd get the message right away. oh i guess i should of said snail mail too. would anybody do that anymore? maybe if it's someone that you haven't heard from in years and they know no other way to reach you.

i think in person is important when possible if it's news that is so bad the person should not be alone when they find out. though that sinking feeling when someone shows up at your door sucks!

I've always felt that if something is important it should be conveyed verbally. Out these options, for me, through texting or a facebook message are on par.
