I only feel comfortable with pets that are small enough to pick up. No St. Bernards for me. My dogs are both 20 lbs or under

Small! When I was little, one of my neighbors had a boxer that always got out and would circle me or my friends predatorily... never bit us but it got close.

As an adult, I'm still uncomfortable around larger dogs. But I'm learning to adapt. Still, I'd MUCH rather have cats.

I have a full Pomeranian and a full Shih Tzu!!! They are the sweetest little dogs--ours are super quiet and loving.

i have both big and small pets... i prefer the bigger ones, just have the little ones because my daughter likes to carry them around and she really cant do that with my mastiffs LOL tho she has tried!
