Our 1 year wedding anniversary is coming up in August. (I know, I have plenty of time to prepare, but Im a guy...so I need plenty of time). So, what do you think is appropriate for a 1 year wedding anniversary gift? We have had two children together (lost one to stillbirth-1 living), she has two older children from a marriage previous to ours and we have been through A LOT together. I want to make this a special one, but Im not quite sure how to say all that I want to say to her, the right way. Any suggestions?

Those past, present, future rings are a nice way to say "we've been through a lot and will have a long future together." They're a bit pricey, but I think they send a nice message.
