I prefer Pilot rollerball pens. I have a bunch in every color.

ballpoint. I love felt tip ones but have found that white out doesn't cover them up and they bleed through the paper

I love my fountain pens. I reach for them before I do any other pen, unless I have to write on notebook paper. Most of the pens/inks are too wet to write on cheap paper like that.

Husband has his own pens, and I have mine. We both have our preferences in what inks we use. You should see the box of ink samples we have.
