I like cloth better, because my bottom slides around on leather seats.

Leather if kids are in the car easy clean up but I hate the fact that leather gets either super hot in the summer or super cold in the winter. Cloth is great but you can't really clean everything out of it.

I custom did my seats to nylon with silk piping. It's awesome!

The cloth auto seats are usually pretreated with Scotchgard Auto Interior Fabric Protector, if they didn't come that way when you bought your car, you can always buy a can and apply the treatment yourself - makes life much easier.

I appreciate how leather doesn't hold in odors like cloth, but... leather just gets so darn hot! In the end though, I guess it doesn't matter too much to me.

It depends on the look of the car for me. If I purchased a luxury car, I'd want leather seats. I like the cloth seats in my Cobalt. I don't really have any issues with either material.

Leather gets freezing cold in the winter and scalding hot in the summer. I will pass.

I like leather seats, although I do agree at first the smell is overwhelming... it should go away
