Wow, all of the advanced education posts here are impressive!

I have my GED. I dropped out of high school as a senior as soon as I turned 18 after moving out of my family's house at 17 and going through an insane amount of life drama. It was at that time when I was just trying to make sense of everything and I had been living with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder since I was 14 and four years later, everything just seemed to be getting worse. I do take pride in the fact that I got my GED less than a year after dropping out of high school, when a lot of people either don't get it at all or wait a lot of years before doing so, so there's the silver lining!

There was a program at my high school called Running Start that allowed juniors and seniors take courses at the local community college. I, absolutely hating the high school environment, jumped at the chance and ended up taking a full course load at the college for those two years. So last June I got my high school diploma and the next day I got my A.A. Pretty sweet deal, I think.

I definitely want to go back to school soon, but for what is the question.

Doctorate sounds so impressive, but it is just a law degree (doctor is in the title of the degree though, so I guess I can get away with it).

I failed to mention that my BS degrees are in Law Enforcement Justice Administration and Sociology (Which emphasis on Sexual Deviance and Criminology).

Before I decided on the double minor, I had FIVE minors...yea, I can sometimes be indecisive. LMAO.

I'll go to law school after the masters too. I would go to school forever if I could. I love it.

No love to my Alma Mater (they've lost my papers so many times I've got multiple copies of everything and I've taken to bringing in my student ID every time I visit to make sure they know I DO go there) I put down Bachelors even though I don't graduate for another two weeks because it's so close.

My degree is a BA in History with elective focuses in Psychology, Sociology, Communications, and English.

College dropout here. Nothing really appealed to me so after freshman year I did the typical young adult backpacking trip across Europe to find myself. I'm still looking for that one, but I did find my husband, so it wasn't a total waste of time.

All four have Masters, one has Two and one is also a Professor. I went to the school of hard knocks. Of course you probably new that. Good Survey. With that Ed. your are more than the average guy. All the Best.

Im currently in college. Already have an Associates degree in Advertising and Design. and now I'm going for a Bachelors in Media business. I've been going to college since the spring of 06 and i still prolly wont be done for 2 years, because I keep getting interrupted with cancer.

My mother put the final nail in the coffin of my education when she threatened to take away my only mode of transportation if I allowed my ex to watch his son while I worked and went to school. I got my GED shortly after I met M and I plan to take some college classes at the local community college eventually. But I'll probably never pursue a 9-5 career, so I really don't see the point in actually pursuing a degree.
