I don't take baths. I shower. The only time I take a bath is when the boyfriend wants to attempt to take a lovey-dovey soak with me. It's hard since he's a bigger guy and I'm at least a bit curvy. Plus the tub is small. Usually, though, we shower together. And that's when we wash our hair. We never wash it separately unless we're in a hurry and can't take a shower at the time. I didn't vote for "separately", though, since this is not the ideal situation and not something I would ever do instead of washing it in the shower.

To me, "take a shower" is synonymous with "wash my hair," and I have one shower every day. Otherwise my hair gets super oily and heavy, even though I've heard hair as thick as mine shouldn't do that so fast.
When it's clean it's soft and fluffy, and I absolutely love it even if it's a bit frizzy.

I had this issue as well, and I had long hair, so when I'd sleep the oil would get on my face if I washed it in the mornings, and it caused my acne to break out REALLY badly! Ugh! So I feel the pain!

I tend to shower every other day (I have psoriasis, so I gotta watch how dry my skin gets), and I dont like washing my hair every day either.. unless its extremely hot and my hair gets all yucky
