I only order appetizers if I'm someplace that has a promo that includes one, like Applebee's 2 for $20, or if I'm out with enough people to share one with and not end up too full for dinner. If there are stuffed mushrooms or calamari on the appetizer menu ordering one becomes a lot more likely, though.

Yes, but only if the restaurant is really busy. I prefer to order my meal when the cook has the time to make it right. When they are busy I feel that the cook is too busy to put the attention to the food that is right for a quality meal.

It depends where we go and what we're in the mood for. Some places just have deep fried greasy grossness for appetizers while others have super tasty ones. A lot of the time we'll just get a salad before our main course because it's what we prefer.

Depends on the company. If I'm with a large group of people, I'll try to pressure apps because I want to stay and talk. If I'm going out on a date with my boyfriend, I'll order one only if he eats it with me. If I don't plan to stay with the person long or don't really enjoy their company, I wont order one.
