When you were a kid what did you dream of being?

When I was a kid I had different aspirations. I was into pro football, so I wanted to be an NFL QB. As for a real job I also always liked trucks and toy construction equipment so I also wanted to be a construction worker.

I wanted to be a veterinarian or a high school English teacher. Then it dawned on me that I was way too prissy to be bitten by animals on a daily and that teenagers suck. Ok, teenagers don't always suck but they would be difficult to deal with on a daily basis and the rules changed and there were more statewide tests given in order to graduate to the next level and I felt that it was counterproductive.

Cool, I think being a veterinarian is a tough job because you have to see animals in pain every day. I don't think I could teach at a high school level because of how kids are these days, but maybe at the college level. What did you end up doing or going for?

I wanted to be a veterinarian and a horse breeder. I cannot handle blood, etc. so the veterinarian part is out and honestly, I could never sell a horse so that was out as well. The horses were also too expensive for me to get into.

I'm your friendly Community Administrative Assistant! I make the weekly threads for you guys, keep up with the gift card disbursements, and a bunch of other things that are community-driven.

My experience is mostly with start up ventures and all of my positions have been administrative in nature. I was the treasurer for a corporation and I've worked for Hitachi Power Tools in customer service. I also have backend experience with other websites...so I pretty much followed in my mother's footsteps. I didn't go to college and I took challenging positions handling all the dirty work no one else wanted to do.

Oddly enough, even as a small child, I've wanted to be a mother. I'm still holding back for a little while to do that, and I haven't done much career-wise...thought about something in psychology though.

I wanted to be a veterinarian, but I grew out of that by high school.
