Besides shooting stars and birthday candles, I also wish upon (from The Glass Menagerie) the "silver slipper of a moon".

It surprises me to find out what my wishes are at those times, though. Gives me a bit of introspection on what I need.

I don't really believe in that stuff but like tradition, everyone makes a wish when they blow out their candles or break a wishbone.

I don't usually get candles for my birthday so I couldn't choose that otherwise I would wish on them. I hardly ever see a falling star, but if I do I wish on them.
