If I don't have to stir it I keep it in the cabinet. But if it is the natural kind that needs to be stirred then I keep it in the fridge for a thicker consistency.

This. Except we eat peanut butter so often in this house, unless I'm cleaning off counters for something, it usually just stays on the counter. It's a staple.

I love the Smuckers Organic Natural Peanut Butter. SOOOO Yummy. I keep that in the fridge. Kids aren't allowed near it.

We keep ours in the fridge. Doesn't last long enough around our house to get dry!

The only reason I keep pb in the fridge is if it's natural pb because it separates. Putting it in the fridge keeps it mixed.

in the pantry, but usually not for long cuz it ends up in my belly. I love PB!

Surprisingly less than I thought it would. In fact, we add olive oil because it is healthier than most other oils and I was worried it would make it taste funny, but the peanut butter taste comes right on through. I will say that I don't like the organic taste as much as some of the more popular brands I remember having as a kid.

That's the sugar though that makes you like those brands better. I actually prefer the natural stuff because it tastes like peanuts! But I'm weird like that

I keep mine in the pantry. I stock up on the smaller size jars when they come on sale so I can finish a container quickly before it turns stale.

I Trader Joe's... even though the closest one to me is in another state. I've never tried their PB before.

I have to keep my PB in the fridge or else it will separate, and that grosses me out. But to help with the spreading I take it out of the fridge and leave it out for a few minutes before I use it.

why would you want cold peanut butter?!! Same goes for maple syrup. Cold maple syrup is just unpleasent.

I am a peanut butter freak. I absolutely HATE it being put in the fridge. Sometimes my other half puts it in there on accident, and it is never the same, lol. Even after you take it out and put it back in the cupboard it never tastes the same.

Thanks! On the organic taste, I actually like almond butter in its organic hippie state, but sometimes I'll sneak the sugar and preservative laden peanut butter brands from my childhood. Jif actually makes a slightly less offensive version now in it's "natural" line. It's stir free and pantry friendly.
