I have come to realize that most people, on a whole, are a bit off-centered. Some more so than others. Then there's the percentage that makes me marvel how they actually survived to a ripe old age!

If you can afford it - stay home! My wife did and we're so glad we were able to raise our own children instead of subcontracting the work. Many irreplaceable memories are worth the financial sacrifices - good luck.
