Where is the farthest you've ever traveled, and how did you like it?

I've been all over the US and to Canada, but the farthest I've ever gone from home is to Germany! I had to live there for three months, and boy was it different. Never got used to it, and I was so relieved to be back in the states once my trip was over.

How are your experiences in foreign countries or other strange places? I just could NOT deal with all the changes. >.< Warm drinks, mayonnaise on LITERALLY everything, tiny ketchup packets cost like 75 cents extra for each one in fast food places, green cheese... THE LIST GOES ON.

I lived in Hawaii for 11 years - that's the furthest I've ever been. Never been out of the country, even, and I live in NY now, about 1.5 hours away from Canada. Ha.

Across continents from the United States West Coast to Asian countries. I HATE flight travels, especially when I have to be on a plane for over 12 hours or more. It would be nice if teleportation is real, I'd travel a lot more!

Egypt on a tour package and it was awesome. The sheer weight of history was incredible, and parts of the country were beautiful. I got hooked on hibiscus juice for breakfast while there

Lived in Germany and Poland for a couple of years with relatives when I was younger. Loved it and miss it.
