I answered both equally, but my wife would probably say that I control it more.
I LOATHE commercials and simply refuse to watch them, so whenever a commercial starts, I switch channels, usually to a non-commercial station. I switch it back after two or three minutes, whenever the commercial break ends.
My wife likes a lot of shows I don't like, and I like a lot of shows she doesn't like, but we have a pretty good compromise. Whoever sits down to watch first decides what we're going to watch. You'd think we'd race each other to the TV, but neither of us actually cares that much!

I had to choose "both equally" because we tend to watch seperate t.v.! Sounds bad, but is very true.

I have a few televisions in my home, so it doesn't really matter. He most definitely watches more TV than I do. I'm too busy!
