There are so many that were great through the years. My parents were huge fans of Bill Cosby so I grew up with his comedy. I also loved when I discovered Eddie Murphy, Jerry Seinfeld and Jeff Foxworthy (he's local to me, and I've met him, a really nice guy.).

Probably my favorite though is Chris Rock, I just love his take on society.

Hmm, I don't know about favorite but I love Wanda Sykes and Margaret Cho. My partner watches a lot of stand up so I've seen too many comedians to remember them all.
