Words You Always Have to Look Up

Crap, definately was definitely me!!
You know what sucks though? On that word, my microsoft word didn't even pick up the mistake.
Second thing to note if you do use an editing program; if it automatically is set to correct and you misspell a word, it may change it to an unintended word. That could explain definitely getting changed to defiantly without the person realizing it.

I noticed that my students were consistently spelling it wrong too or using the word difiantly instead (btw this means to resist against, not confirmation).

So I came up with a way that has ... more
I love words, and have read more than one dictionary from cover to cover. My most common error is that I'll mean one thing, and type a homophone. When I go back to proofread, I'm always confused. I'll mean to type rein, but type reign instead. What the heck, it's an EXTRA LETTER, why did I do that? But my brain processes things strangely, I think, so even though I know it's not the word I'm looking for and I know it, I type it anyway.

'Separate' and 'Desperate' always got me ... still does sometimes. It's the second vowel that always trips me up. They sound the same to me.

Definitely took me FOREVER to learn how to spell. I actually had a friend who always got on me about spelling it wrong when I didn't know I was, haha.

I spell restaurant wrong all the time. See, I had to check it when I spelled it there too. Damn it.

Just came upon one today!

Equivalent. I usually spell it "equivilent" or "equivilant" or something like that.

I am not very good with grammar, but I think posting reviews on Eden is helping my English.
