My Mum just recently came out of the closet after 20+ years. I had already had a few girlfriends before this happened. We can talk about anything and everything. Sex is just sex, who cares? Plus if you store your toys properly (like you should be doing anyways) she doesn't have to touch them, just the packaging or bags, and therefore there is nothing to be "weirded" out by. No big deal in my book.

Oh. Oh my goodness. No one in my family will ever known that I own any, much less that see them. In fact, I'm getting a large locked box and chucking everything in that my friend will pick up from the family should something happen to me.

I'm pretty sure that would freak both of us out a bit, my mom is kind of traditional ._. and not all that erm... comfortable even talking about sex as far as I've experienced. She is always kind of awkward about it. So no she probably wouldn't help and I would never ask.

What was her response? One - could she borrow some toys (gross) and two that the setup I have for storage is too cluttered for showing the house. Now she wants to get new bins and help me reorganize all my toys. She's getting me under the bed bins for my "favorites" and closet bins for the rest. I think she intends to go through them one by one with me and go "is this an under the bed or bin one?" I'm disturbed. I don't think I'm comfortable going through my toys like that with my mom. Plus it will be a long process as I have somewhere around 300 toys.

Not sure. My mom knows about my toys, knows that I've sold them and I've even given her a bullet or two. I've showed her my new toys I've received in the mail but for her to actually help organize my collection, I'm not sure about that one.

Back when I was still in school and living at home, my mom stumbled onto my small stash of porn and condoms. We made an understanding: she wouldn't snoop and I'd keep everything more discreetly tucked away (and if/when I had sex, it would be safe sex).

I would never let my mother know about them- I am in college, and still living at home- I don't even have my toys delivered to the house, they are delivered to my best friend's address. (I have hid them very well. )

I've shown my mom a couple of my toys. She thinks they're a waste of money. She has her vibrator, which is a piece of crap, and she doesn't take care of it. I saw it when I was helping her organize her stuff. She just doesn't get why I like toys. So she would probably just guilt trip me about spending the money.
My dad would just roll his eyes, but understand. I remember in HS, finding his and my step-dad's dildos. He knows what's up. lol
