My mum knows about my sex toys but doesn't like them. I would be ok with my friends tidying them with me. All my sex toys are washed after each use.

What was her response? One - could she borrow some toys (gross) and two that the setup I have for storage is too cluttered for showing the house. Now she wants to get new bins and help me reorganize all my toys. She's getting me under the bed bins for my "favorites" and closet bins for the rest. I think she intends to go through them one by one with me and go "is this an under the bed or bin one?" I'm disturbed. I don't think I'm comfortable going through my toys like that with my mom. Plus it will be a long process as I have somewhere around 300 toys.
Would you be comfortable doing something like this with your mom? Why or why not? less

I dont think I'd be comfortable in that situation. I'd make sure the toys were seen to before she would arrive!

My mom (step-mom) gave me my first vibrator for my 18th birthday lol. I wouldn't be all that embarrassed because we are a very open family but I don't know about her pawing through my toys.

Good parenting, even parenting children who are legally adults needs good boundaries.
I would never let my mother see my sex toys. I doubt she knows about them. She's a devout Catholic and I doubt she'd know what a butt plug was if it hit her in the face. (The bondage stuff? OMG. As it was, when I was much younger and living at home, she went through my purse "to find some change" and found my diaphragm and didn't know what it was.
I wouldn't let my mother "organize" my sex toys. Nor would I offer to do such a thing for my daughters who are legally adults. It's their business, not mine. And, honestly, I'm not interested in if or what toys they have. My middle daughter works part time in a store that sells sex toys, so I'm guessing she has some. But, it isn't my business.
The closest I've come is when my daughter showed me a video she made. A rabbit at her store had a broken box and they couldn't sell it. She made a face and arms for it out of paper, and took some little pocket rockets and did the same. Then she turned them on and they danced around the counter. It was hilarious! She doesn't want to post it, because she's afraid she'll get fired. (These were all toys that had to be sent back to the company or discarded anyway.) But, it was one of the funniest things I've ever seen. She even put music on it. All those vibrators dancing around in circles.
But, these weren't her toys, just stuff lying around her place of employment.
I hope she posts the video after she gets a real full time job after she gets her Master's.
