out in the country. I hate city life.

I'm a country girl. I live in the country and it's great. I don't mind visiting the city but not interested in living in it.

I rather live in the country or a small town. I am in the city now and I can't stand it makes me wonder why I moved from the small town I was in back home.

I live in a small suburban town. I absolutely hate how crammed everything is! I am definitely moving to a moral rural area in the future.

Me too-although I don't even like to visit cities. I'm happy in the country!

I voted 'both' but my real intent is to say 'other' - I'm a true suburbanite. We live close to the city - but far enough from the center to lack that crowded closed in feeling of downtown.

My vote would have been for other, small town life has it's bad points but I wouldn't change it.

I would have chosen "other" as well. I like bigger cities but nothing so big as like Chicago, New York, Detroit. I would live in the suberbs outside cities because I would enjoy being able to travel into the city if I wanted. But I would not want to live in a rural area/small small town that wasn't around anything.

I don't really mind either one — as long as I can get wherever I want to go without having to drive.

Country. I'm tired of the noise here. I would rather live in a big city where I can walk everywhere to make up for the noise, or the quiet countryside.

I hate rural settings. I much prefer urban or suburban.

The city for sure, but I'm also considering the suburbs the city since I can reach downtown in my car in about 30 minutes. The city I live in is a suburb of two major cities, but my surrounding area is very built up with all the amenities we so love and enjoy.

I like being close to both. Cities like Portland and Seattle are great for that sort of thing.

I'm in the minority here. I grew up in a rural area and I thought it was SO boring! I'm a city girl

It is convenient to live in the city where you are close to everything but there is just something I love about being in the country!!

In the city, I very much liked being able to walk to and from restaurants, bars, grocery and the L station to go downtown Chicago.
However, in the country I also quite enjoyed being able to look out into the yard and see deer or be able to walk around outside naked as well as the countless other things that you can do out in the country.
Although it is rather disconcerting to be an hour drive from even a small hospital Emergency Room.

I like both. I would have both a country and city house.
