Contributor: amenti amenti
I would but not that one cause they charge you two bucks for it which is crazy.

Here's a link to the free open source one 'Open Sarcasm':

And here's for the Irony punctuation mark, which I didn't even know we had:

I don't know that it's particularly needed, but I would definitely use it. I mean, there are a lot of times when tonality may not be clear over the internet. It would simplify a lot of things if there were a simple punctuation mark that could indicate when you were being sarcastic.

If someone online needs a punctuation mark to show my sarcasm then they don't know me well enough to be talking to me anyway...

No. If you can't detect it you don't deserve to understand it.

I am not sure that I agree with this - I mean, when tone of voice is a factor, I definitely second that. Comments in writing, however, can so easily be taken out of context, which is why punctuation marks make sense to me.

I'd use it, since people don't always catch when I'm being sarcastic while typing

I think that people have such sarcastic humor now a day's and that can be hard to translate in print, so I can see the use of that.

If it made sense then yes, but if a bunch of people haven't heard of it before, they might be confused. I think ... does it pretty well. OH look another dragon...

i would use it if i thought that the person would read it in a non-sarcastic way, specifically if doing so would cause them distress. i would like to think that my sarcasm is obvious; however, that is not always the case. so, i could see a use for it.

have you heard of the interrobang ? It's a combination between a question mark and an exclamation point!

I wouldn't use it and I don't think emoticons should be on forums, ever.

I would definitely. Sometimes sarcasm isn't taken as sarcasm over text and then I always become an ass for saying it.

Just kidding. Sincerely, I think it would be a good idea.

I would use it because sometimes sarcasm needs a little help to get through people's brains.

So much of this! I would not use this. I don't see the need to get a special mark that tells other when I am being sarcastic.
