Not sure if this subject has been brought up before but??..

If EF had a chat room feature would you use it?

I think it would be nice to talk with other members in real time rather than through forum posts...What do you all think?

I think that would be a great feature! Sometimes you just would like to know the answer to a couple of questions and have to message, then wait, then remessage because the answer made you think of something else.Etc.

I wouldn't use it, but it wouldn't bother me if there were one. I prefer message boards over chat rooms.

I don't really think the forums are active enough for that. I rarely see one post happen immediately after another.

There are days I would get nothing done...but other days were I could just ignore it...kinda like I do with Yahoo (which reminds me, I should go turn that on). I would be leery of a chat room on a sex toy site though...sounds like it would draw the "ookey crowd".

Not that it is a bad idea, but I think the message board style here works better because it doesn't invite the stalker types. (Even if I refer to "follow"ing people as "stalking" them. )

Maybe, maybe not. I only chat with who I know, anyway.

I never use chat rooms because I'm often ignored in them. I would love to have an instant messaging feature though, like what facebook has.

Yes. I belong to several forums that have the chat feature, and it's always fun to catch up informally, without having the conversation recorded for all time.

I never use chat rooms. I would not use it.

I think, with the nature of the site (and some of the short term people it attracts until they realize no one is here to hook up) it wouldn't be a good idea.

Probably not, those wishing to chat can always just add me to Skype. The thing is, I am not always on Skype. lol Best bet is to just use the PM to get my attention and then I can log on. FB is also an option.
