Priorities.

Your dude's going to notice if you're unhappy, even if you look hot. Don't do anything you're uncomfortable with. You also don't need to spend a lot to look sexy; just saying.

And you could join the review program and give back in reviewing items you already have; you earn extra points that way too.

Honestly, I feel guiltier when I go on a shoe-buying binge

I have felt guilt because I have placed a large order when I know I really should be saving my money :\

No. I wouldn't order if it made me feel bad. Quite the contrary, I order because it makes me feel good (or it will once the package arrives).

I never feel guilty, I don't over spend and everyone has what they need.

I do at times, especially if it was an expensive order. Budget is tight these days.

I normaly don't feel guilty because I really don't spend on myself much so when I do it's a case of I am feeling like I deserve something. There have been a few times where I made an order and spent a little more then I should have and had to wait on getting something more important. When I do that I feel slightly guilty.

I am gonna be in that spot on Tuesday as I am going to a party on the 12th and I need some things for it but I really need to get a new bed at the same time. The toys are cumming first sadly.

I am wrestling with this right now. I really don't have money to spend right now because I just moved into a new place and there's lots of stuff for the house that I need to get. I just really want my toys lol. The valentine's day coupon is really tempting me though.

I always get really excited when I place an order and then when everything arrives, I end up feeling overwhelmed because I know eventually I will be writing reviews on everything.

Not at all, we don't spend what we don't have.

I do with anything and everything I order. Buyer's remorse is something I suffer from a lot, so I usually spend a lot of time thinking about if I really want to buy it or not, then the other time I worry and panic and think how I'll make up what i spend, lol.

We do the same thing with the wishlist. I even drive things around in the cart at the grocery. I can usually talk myself out of most everything (that isn't on the list), if I drive it around long enough. However, I feel our last orders on Eden have been for products that we really have been lusting after for each other.

By reading all the reviews we can about a product and making sure we are getting only the things we really want, most of the time we can avoid impulsive buying. So, do I/we feel guilty after making our purchase on Eden? No.

I know how that is...maybe its best for us to stay away from EF site sometimes?

maybe get yourself 1 or 2 things you can use the coupon & code on so u really don't have to spend a thing...then after that don't get anything else?

If I am using my points to place an order, and just paying a little bit on top of that then I do not feel guilty at all. If I'm ordering stuff otherwise, I feel guilty. It's not just EF though..it's anything I order for myself, be it bras that I NEED, or a new pair of shoes because my old pair wore out. I don't have my own income, and I'm still struggling with "His money, is OUR money" thing. It's tough going from Bringing home the bacon, to nothing!

Against some posts in here, I have to comment. I don't believe you should feel guilty about anything. Yes, you could save for a new car, ect., but what do you really carry your whole life. A memory of a good time, a good feeling, will stay with you the rest of your days, so do what you want and what will please your significant other. Don't feel guilty about a beautiful thing. You don't have to be rich to have a good life! By the way, I actually look forward to the things I get for my wife even if I could save the money. Life is about experiences, not about what you can save or buy.

Interesting question. I never really thought about it before, but I'm surprised I don't feel guilty since I tend to when I buy things that aren't a necessity (such as dvd's and video games) It's probably because the things I buy are also for my girlfriend.

Nope not guilt. Well sort of. I feel guilty that I picked one toy over another toy. But elated that I placed an order.

I feel worried about having the items clear customs in Beijing. Then I'll feel more worried that I will have to open the parcel at the post office (as sometimes they do that here) then explain the purpose of what each item is for. I am not worried about explaining it... I am just worried that they will flag my name and passport with something like "loose morals, bad influence on Chinese students" or something!!!! LOL!!!

I don't ever feel guilty. After I pay my bills and throw money into savings with each check, I am left with so much I can play around with, so I will either buy stuff off of EdenFantasys or I will buy books and DVDs off of Amazon. If I felt that I was leaving myself without enough room for buying gas or food, I just would keep my money for the time being.

I've only been ordering if I have GC's, Eden points, and a coupon. We've started cutting back on lots of expenses and placing our needs before our wants.

I try not to spend much. I use my Eden points plus the buyout program, any other promos, etc. my last order I spent under $4 in the end! I might even try submitting some articles for some gift cards!

I hate myself for when I was 16 I didn't have ibs then and I wish I worked more and saved money..but I never thought 'what if I can't work" u know?
You know... Why don't you get on some medication for your IBS already? There are state programs you could qualify for if you don't have insurance. MILLIONS of people live with IBS and lead perfectly functional lives. If it's THIS disruptive that you can't work, something needs to change. Maybe it's not just IBS, maybe you have a gluten allergy or something else wrong with your digestive system. A gastroenterologist would be able to help you with that. I know people who have many more health problems than IBS and they manage to work just fine.

If you got your IBS under control, you probably wouldn't have so many interpersonal issues at work AND you could work more so you could move out on your own which would solve your problems with your mom and your sister. WHY wouldn't you want to do this?

I don't feel guilty because I never spend more than I can afford to, and if I need more to pay for what I want, I work my butt off trying to earn it by writing, reviewing, entering every contest around and getting products on buyout.

If I wasn't willing to do the work, and I didn't have the money because I needed to spend it on other things then I would definitely feel guilty. I would probably enlist a friend to slap me in the face if I couldn't control myself and wanted to impulse shop on the site before I had money to spend.

I think considering your situation, which you have made VERY clear, you really need to just do what the rest of us have to do, and suck it up and wait until you have covered your more important expenses. I know how amazing the site is, and how tempting it is to buy this stuff. But honestly? People had totally normal relationships and healthy sex lives even before sex shops existed, it isn't going to hurt to go through a couple months of withdrawl while you get yourself into a more manageable situation. We cant have everything we want all the time, if we cant afford what we want, we either find a way to come up with more money, or go without.

I don't feel guilty, and I probably couldn't keep shopping if I felt guilty. I use GC, Eden points, and coupons to keep the costs low, and if I cannot afford something right now I put it into a wishlist so that once I'm making more money, I can come back and buy it. It's all about self control.
