I got called into my night job. Exciting. Depending on what time I can get out of here and when my husband finishes up what he was doing, we might still try and make it to our friend's place, but as of right now it's looking like Taco Bell for dinner and curling up to watch whatever's on TV before passing out.

Last night was fun We finished our homework then went out for dinner. We got a really good video game (Demon Souls), a movie (500 days of summer), and expensive beer that we don't normally get and were competitive all night before we chose a few toys to test. I love late nights .

I'm bumping this one up early because it's almost 4 on the east coast and it's been a long (although technically short) week! I'm going to try and find someplace to get a manicure on my way home tonight because we did physical inventory at my company this week and my nails are used to my cushy desk job - they do NOT look good. And then I'm running to target and finding something quick for dinner and will then sink into my comfy sofa to a movie or whatever is on tv.

I made cookie bars! But I think I didn't put enough flour in because it's more like a cake than a cookie. The rest of my measuring cups were in the dishwasher, and I had only a 1/4 cup to measure stuff with (stop laughing).

My Man is working late, and will probably be crabby and tired. One of my kids is having a sleep over (and I have to go get the kid, and I wasn't planning on leaving the house on this damp, gray day) so we'll probably get a movie from On Demand or hang out. We usually have a long marathon sex session on Fridays (usually, not always, we had one Wednesday night and a Follow Up yesterday morning, so it will depend on how the Old Man is feeling) but with a sleep over for one of kids, this is probably not going to happen. Kids don't sleep at sleepovers. *sigh*
But, my little one, (the Little Genius with mild Ausperger's) is becoming more social and actually seeking friends out, and they are responding, so I am glad.

It's no longer a Friday, but I spent mine just hanging out with friends for a while. Tonight I'm celebrating my boyfriend's 25th (the old man, ha) at his house with a good-sized group of people, so that'll be my big plan for the weekend rather than having any major Friday evening plans.

And here we are again! Tonight I am sitting on my couch watching the food network but I'm about to leave for Target to get a few household things so I can spend my weekend having fun (and working...sigh) not running errands. When I get home, I'll find a DVD to watch...suggestions anyone? I have a 300+ strong collection and don't know what I'm in the mood for.
