I'm still a Leo according to that article but my partner is now a Virgo. But, hey why the f_ck not, right? Let's take something that's already overly complicated and make it even more complicated. Human nature!

The change is in the sidereal (Eastern) zodiac NOT the equatorial (Western) zodiac.

I was flumuxxed on it, but got over it when I realized: 1) it only applied to one zodiac table that no one in North America follows and 2) the tattoo business is going to benefit from it and they could really use it.

It's bunk. Don't buy into it.

Who cares...it still sucks...don't need the big "technical" reason behind it...I mean really, just wanted some opinions on it.

I hate when a "simple" question that is just there for opinions is turned into a "technical" debate.

I was so glad to read an article about how they're getting it ALL wrong and it's completely FALSE that there's a new sign and that the pre-existing ones have to change. I relieved and sat back in my seat thinking, "Damn right I'm not changing my sign!"

I don't think she was upset with anyone here, dear. I'm guessing she was just sharing her rant with us because of how annoyed other people made her about it. It's just catharsis.

I don't really take astrology seriously, but I did identify with being a Virgo (and, coincidentally enough, just received Fun Factory's Virgo Astrovibe today). According to the new calendar, I am now a Leo.

I guess I could say that I'm not a virgin anymore?

Either way me and my partner happen to be be listed as incompatible, so no difference for me It's cancer and libra or gemini and virgo.
Astrology makes me nervous, so I prefer to think of it as some game, which it really is.

the new sign really isn't knew. so i'm not sure y they decided not to add it in the 1st place.
