Whats your thoughts on the now known as 'Summer of the Zombies'?
For those who have no idea what I'm talking about in florida there was a man found EATING THE FACE OFF AN OTHER MAN! The cop shot him and the man TURNED AROUND AND GROWLED AT HIM! then cope killed the man and the other person was still alive. Police say the man was high on 'bath salt' a new type of drug. More cases have been poping up around Florida and the US (sorry I don't know them all and there has been ALOT going on) What do you guys think? Zombie Apocalips or not?

The toxicology reports on that came back as negative on bath salts the first time around, if I recall correctly.

People are confusing zombies with cannibalism and it's just another eye-opening insight into the power that sensationalist media and journalism have over people's opinions.

Actually I'm with you on this. I'm not big in the idea that Zombies are ever going to happen I'm just shocked that so many people are being attacked by cannibalists now adays. and I mean alot of people I've seen like 3 more attacks in florida atleast and its just crazy because they strip off their cloths first its kinda odd. but eh if one man does it more will follow.

But with all this stuff I'm a bit freaked out to say the least I have always said 'Nothing is impossible the name its self says I'm Possible' so this has me a bit on edge since I live so close to it and most of my work mates have been like "OMG ZOMBIES~"

They aren't being attacked by cannibals. They are being attacked by doped-up addicts. Their particular brand of poison is called bath salts. It's not real bath salt. I don't even know what it actually is, but it's a drug that deprives your brain of vital chemicals and it's extremely easy to overdose.

The brain loses all normal logic and ignores the trappings of society and begins to crave things most people don't crave. One of those things is human flesh.

It is true that there are cannibals who aren't taking this drug wandering our streets. The difference between people like Jeffrey Dahmer, that Canadian porn star and the drug addicts, is the real cannibals have entertained and grown into this craving, it doesn't just suddenly sound like a good idea one day. It's something they plot carefully and diligently and most of their victims are plucked out of the street and never heard from again.

The cases you're hearing about are driven purely by use of this drug: "bath salts".

One of my conspiracy theorist friends is believing it's some government brainwashing experiment.

She's also in Scotland and has no idea what sort of mental health problems we have in this glorious sunshine state that doesn't provide public mental health care.

Ha, I made a post on this not too long ago. I think it's all just a coincidence. If it really ends up being something other than drugs then I'll find an appropriate weapon. I think some people have seen too many zombie movies, that's all. It's strategic advertising.

Yep, those nutcases were snorting up an ecstasy bath salt called "Cloud Nine", that stuff should be BANNED and the people selling them should be jailed!

I think people are missing the point of Yes I know this happened a while ago but what I'm trying to bring up is there has been MORE attacks like that one. Thus the reason its being called the Summer of Zombies and no I dont think they are zombies eather but I just wanted to know what EF thinks. Like I said before I'm a little on the offence because I do believe anything is possible (quote from before I'm Possible)

I live where most of this is going on and its kinda freaky and Yes I know its from a HORRIBLE drug called Bath salts and yes I know its not actually huffing real bath salts LOL. I think they said Bath salts are a type of LSD that makes them stripp off their clothing because to frys them inside and they gain like the streight of 10 men and some other stuff I dont remember but its some bad stuff.

And I hae heard of alot more attacks like this all over the place and I'm not sure if its just because of the hype or what. I also think that there are sick people who watch the news and they think it would be a great idea to try it themselfs like the guy who whent to his X-girlfriends place stripped down and attacked one of the guys their biting a piece of flesh off (Again I really dont know the whole story on this one thats why I wasnt going to bring it up but I wanted to make a point and if any one can correct me please do)
