Hello, I'm still fairly new to the communtiy but I have started a few discussions. My question is is there a way to see YOUR discussion? Either through your profile or other means? I can't honestly remember what category my discussion is in and I would like to see the answers and reply as well.

any help would be great!

There are tabs just above the discussions that have been started, one of them says "My Discussions". If you click on that, it will take you to every discussion you have read, commented or started.

An easier way to do this is to click the heart next to the thread title while you're in the post. This marks it as a favorite and can be found in the "Favorite Discussions" tab.

Also, if you look under the category list (the one that you can expand and collapse) you'll see a forum search box. I haven't used it yet, but if you type in your user name you should be able to pull up everything you've started.

Thank you so much!! I feel a little silly now that I see it's so obvious!! But I guess thats how it goes, the obvious is always invisible

You're quite welcome and no worries at all. This site operates in many ways that are totally different than a lot of other forum communities so it's understandable that one wouldn't look in certain places for things. I know it took me awhile to figure some stuff out in the beginning, but now I feel like I'm an old pro and I've only been here since March.

I feel like I'm still learning too...

And aimtoplease, you might enjoy taking a look at this 'tips I wish I learned sooner' thread---the tips are all across the site from reviewing to the forums, but there's a lot of good stuff in there.

If it helps any, I have been around here for a year and a half. I still find new ways to do stuff every day. Plus the staff is always looking for ways to improve the site and changes are made as new ways are found. It's one of the reasons this site is so full of awesomesauce.
