I've been here on Eden a little while now, and I'm really liking it. My question for you all is:

Do you reveal your true identity here, either by using your name or by linking to your real social media (facebook/twitter etc) accounts?

Do you tell your relatives/friends how great it is here?

I hide, but I have IRL friends on here and I openly encourage IRL friends to be on Eden. I just don't tell people online who I am haha.

I use part of my real name. I'm actually Rebecca, but everyone calls me Becky for short. I go by Beck on the internet. My facebook is Beck Eden aka Bob Johnson. However, I know that some EFers know my real name because of chatting on skype and mailing packages to them. I only allow those to have it who I know are decent people who won't stock me. Even if everyone on here knew my real name...it's so common that you would never figure out who I am. The perk of having a common last name! My name isn't as popular as Tim Smith, but if you google my name and my state TONS of Lawyers, Doctors, and facebook pages come up that aren't mine.

I don't use my real identity here, except that I have made a couple of purchases on the Classifieds and used my real name for those of course.

It makes it easier for me to feel comfortable being completely honest and sharing more info. I worry about future employers, etc., googling me.

I chose my username ImaGodiva based solely on the stock EF profile picture I chose when I signed up. Although horseback riding in the nude could be a fun activity!

I don't use my real name here, but I have met some friends on Eden that have my actual info. I've sent packages to some, so those people know my address as well. I'm pretty cautious with who I give that info to.

My mom and friends know I review, but not for what sites. Some of them are way too nosy and would go reading my reviews. Don't really want people I see daily knowing about my orgasms.

I use a screen name on here but I do link the account to my Facebook and promo it on FB, twitter, tumblr & my blog. People know I'm on here. When I first joined I was more shy regarding this but now I don't really care.

While I hide my identity mostly, I'd be open if someone asked me things and I felt comfortable answering them. I have real life friends here on Eden too, who have already become hooked on this site.

LOL. I liked the answers. They were funny, to me.

As for me, maybe I'm a little too risky/naive, but I have revealed my true identity in about every form possible. I use my real name, a photo of me and I think I've linked to my FB. I just decided that I didn't care who knew. I mean, it would be very embarrassing if a family member or other person from my area read my reviews, or even my talks on the forum because I'm pretty open and personal, but I just cannot care. When I first joined, I was deciding which to do and just thought it would be too much stress trying to hide, and then I let go and decided I'd just be me and if someone thought I was weird or something else, I'd just laugh. I like being able to be me, especially here where you actually can show who you really are without flipping people out (well, unless you talk about certain things that is).

I would never tell my family or Facebook "friends" about my activity here but I tell my real world friends and partner all about it. I even convinced 3 of my friends to make accounts and sign up last night. They were a little nervous about it at first but were all so surprised about how sex positive EF were and all are so excited to join the community.

Nooo, I would never like mixing my online and offline lives because it gets really creepy. I try to keep it this way: EF for personal sexual stuff I wouldn't tell my mother (or else say in an extremely veiled manner,) Tumblr for online friends/social stuff, and Facebook for both online and offline friends/relationships.

Now I just need a decent art site to showcase my stuff. I left dA some time ago.

I'll tell my friends to join... but I don't talk about sex with my family. It's just not something I do, my mother has converted to Christianity and threw away her one vibrator, (cause apparently they're not god-like...I don't get it, she didn't raise me that way and still tells me I should use sex toys if I want to) that's all I know and care to know. XD

I always suggest Eden and I DO use my real identity here, but I don't have any friends here (unfortunately). I am super superrrrr anti-social/have severe anxiety though so I try to keep people who know me IRL away from all of my internet stuff.

I don't ever reveal my true identity to anyone. Even on other sites I'm an active member of. I do sometimes invite my friends to join EF, because it's a great site, but I never tell them my user name.

DaS is my nickname, but my real name is Angie and I have my FB, personal blog, Twitter and all that linked here. My wife, mother-in-law, sisters and friends all know about this site, as do my blogger friends. I'm not one to really hide anything, unless I think the person would be offended, etc. Some people don't know my wife is my slave, but others do. It all depends on who I'm talking to!
