I attended a job interview this a.m. I understand that today is casual Friday, however, the topic of discussion left me bewildered.

There was a heated discussion regarding masturbation and the bible. The conversation go so out of control that staplers and other office items was flying through the air. I politely said thank you and proceeded to walk out, before I could get out of the door, I was hit in the head by a box of staples.

I will say this, about 90% of the female employees were for it.

No, I did not get the job.

Sounds like the diner I worked at - only it was food instead of office supplies.

Doesn't sound like you'd want to work there, anyway, if they have to act like children during a debate.

Have you filed an assault charge with the company yet?

It doesn't sound like a place I would want to work so I dunno whether to commiserate or congratulate you! Discussion and even spirited discussion is one of my great loves but the flying office supplies is going to far in my book. That, to me, is a hostile work environment....but others may actually shine and feel energized by it.
