Politics in the work place

My husband says his supervisor is always rambling on and on in their morning meetings about politics. Not only his opinion but as well as trying to convince them in voting for a certain party. I myself believe there is a time and place for thing as such as this to be discussed and at the job NOR church is the place for it... what do you think
