I go to the Pitt Con, which is small but usually pulls in good guests. The big cons like San Diego always have bigger guests and cooler panels, but nothing beats the intimacy of a small con. When Stan came, I waited in line with Sean McKeever, and became friends. We plan on doing lunch at next year's con. We also talk with Tom DeFalco and Greg Horn. You wouldn't have time to do that in San Diego.

Any and all Batman stories, especially the newer Arkham Asylum story. Absolutely wonderful.

Preacher is probably the best ever. Period. And there's sexytimes in it!

The Pro, Fables, The Invisibles, Watchmen...is my dork showing?

I think your con might be better than mine, lol; just about the only names we get are obscure actors and WWE wrestlers, some artists for non-mainstream comics. Carrie Fisher was actually there once, which was really exciting because I heart Leia, but the line for her was like seven hours long and dad said we couldn't stay that long

No, I wouldn't have that kind of time in San Diego. But I might get to have my picture taken with Karl Urban or Zachary Quinto

Personally, I've never quite understood the appeal. Taylor has a stack of "Dawn" comic books that I've read and sort of enjoyed. I liked the Archie comics when I was a kid.
But my brother and some ... more
LOVE comics..... just not enough to invest in them regularly. The art is amazing in some, the story in others. The characters in most are just incredible. My brother used to have like 200or something, I think I must have read most of them. I think the sex appeal in them comes from that old, look but don't touch. There are no limits to what comic book characters can do (depending on story line) real life limitations don't usually apply. Yet we can never get a taste of it because it is fiction.

Oh man, all the punks used to dig Johnny The Homicidal Maniac so much. I never got into it.
