Fashion Best Left Dead

Still not gone but wish they were:

Jeans on men 3 sizes too big hanging around their knees with underwear showing
Jeans on girls 3 sizes too small belted purposely causing severe muffin top
People who wear their PJ's out in public

Are you *sure* you don't live in South Philly? You can walk one block and see all 3 of those offenses, without a doubt!

Weird!

I hate crocs!!!! And I completely agree... what's the deal with them?

Like Amy Winehouse? When I see a beehive, I expect a methface to go along with it.

Let's see- grotesque fashion?

Jelles.. but oh wait, there they are on the shelves.. the most ridiculous footwear known to mankind. Acid wash jeans are back too.. let's just pray they don't bring back the two-tone jeans!

Hmm, let's hope people don't try to revive the Seattle grunge phase, I rather like washing my clothes and hair now.

What else? The female mullet- but oh wait, there's Kristen Stewart on the cover of US Weekly trying to do her best Joan Jett.

Maternity tops (uber-highwaisted tops) for non-pregnant women. Seriously, does anyone who isn't pregnant look good in these?

Japanese girls out here love those tops. I don't understand all the people wearing Uggs in Hawaii with shorts and t shirts.

You guys are listing so much cool stuff. Shirts long enough to be skirts are the best, you just aren't dressing 'em right!

Leggings as pants. They can look cute with a skirt and okay with a long shirt, but tight, thin leggings with a short top...disaster. Particularly when visible camel toe is involved.

Oh man, you gotta go to Williamsburg or Green Point, Brooklyn. Hipsters brought rat tails back (much to my dismay) about a year and a half ago. A sad time for us all Even when they were popular and my brother had one I was embarrassed. Though one thing my brother had that I kind of love/want to bring back are eye glasses connectors...

The 80s fad of wearing two pairs of fluorescent socks and jelly sandals. That was horrendous. And I rocked it like it was the coolest thing in the world. Course... I was ten. Hee!

I don't like those 'high-water'/flood pants type pants, where the leg is too damn short to where you have to wear long socks. They just look silly to me.

I love flare pants, though, because straight leg chaffs my legs and I get little blisters around my ankle because I only wear ankle socks.

Lately around here girls are wearing thin tees sometimes with vests or maybe a sweater, the hugeass fluffy rainboots, sometimes leggings, and mini skirts. I think that's just gaudy.

I'm out of the norm. I wear mean's clothes usually, LOL! Tripp pants, dragon shirts, maybe some military camo pants that are real baggy with lots of pockets.

I love a lot of pockets. :3

The beehive hair styles
I went to a super hip looking hair salon when I first moved here, not knowing where to get my hair cut... I asked for "short and spikey hair" and I walked out with a total beehive. With my funky glasses, it was pretty bad. When my husband saw it, he bit his lip and tried to be nice about the horrible hairdo (which people at the salon seemed to think was "innovative" by the way) and I said "it's okay, you can say it... I hate this haircut." "Oh thank god, because you look like my mother's high school yearbook!"

Seriously, it is coming back. Ugh.

PAISLEY! dear gawd kill paisley!

I also hate the mother of pearl buttons on shirts. I wore those when i was 2. Their time has passed, please die.

Polyester should just go away too.

They have! I just saw a plaid one in Torrid the other day.

Or are you talking the really fancy satin/polyester ones you'd wear for line dancing? link

When I lived in Philly, I saw men and women at the gym in T shirts and pajama bottoms. Late at night. Is this a side effect of Ambien, or a disturbing trend?

Why would they sell those, they were a tragedy even in the 90s...and speaking of, I wish the whole 90s decade would go away...

my mother-in-law wears vests and I am forever telling her she looks stupid.
