I like Katy Perry... But I LOVE Lady GaGa. GaGa has something else that Perry lacks: Fan-fucking-tastic live performances! When I saw her do the duet with Elton John, I was sold completely. I'd love to see her in concert!

Seeing Katy Perry in concert (on TV), I was disappointed. She just doesn't have the voice for being physically active while singing. Not that I do either, mind you, but you gotta know your strengths and weaknesses and work with them.

HMMMMM Lady Gaga I would not call her a sex Icon. She is a unique being.

Some of her music is good some of it is strange. Her costuming ( well lack of it most times) is over the top but that is what she is going for ....shock value.

I just cannot handle Katy Perry. Her voice literally goes through me, and don't even get me started on "I Kissed a Girl" (I have issues with that song; I really need to stop listening to the lyrics of vapid pop stars). I just avoid her stuff whenever possible.

But I do like Gaga's stuff quite a bit. I don't know if I should admit this or not (it doesn't seem to be a popular view from what I've been hearing/seeing in various places) but I really, really love "Born This Way." It's just so...I don't even know. Someone in a previous comment said something about it being too much like Madonna, but I think that's part of what I like about it. It's kind of reminiscent of Madonna's "Express Yourself" (at least to my ears) but I fucking love old school Madonna anyway, so I'm probably biased. *L*

And oh my god, yes, I wouldn't mind seeing Gaga in concert; I bet she's wild.

I love old school Madonna too! Probably another reason I love GaGa. And I really like the song "Born This Way" too. I'm mixed on the video for artistic/pragmatic reasons but the song rules (for me).

I wouldn't consider her a sex icon. I do like some of her music. She's alright at what she chooses to do.

...then again, so is Justin Beiber I guess. I mean, someone signed them, so they have to be half decent.

I don't see why her uniqueness is such a big deal. Yes she sings about sex, most pop artists do. Yes, she supports the GLBT community, so does Anne Hathaway but nobody fusses about her. Although many churches are convinced, no, she is not the devil come to take your children.

I don't consider anybody a "sex icon" not in my eyes at least, but I do not like Lady Gaga. I think she's honestly, stupid as hell.

I hate to be so harsh, but I do think that. I don't listen to her music or keep up with her, or any celeb for that matter. Well, unless it's HANSON! lol

There are days when I hear a few of her songs and sing to them and really like them. Other times I look at her and wish she could just go away because she gets so much attention for being "creative" and "unique"...yeah right.

I don't absolutely hate her, but I'm not a fan. I'm not a follower of fashion, so I don't care in that sense, but I abhor the kind of clothes she promotes.. As for her music, I just don't think she's all that good.
