Both but I read more books than graphic novels. This isn't necessarily a preference, per se, but libraries don't carry many graphic novels but they definitely carry books.

Depends. A lot of the times the idea of a graphic novel is to incorporate the imagery in a way that the text doesn't.

It's really hard for me to find graphic novels that I like though. If the art is beautiful and the story is compelling then I really love to read graphic novels.

Would prefer text-only books, I like imagining certain people in the roles. Seeing what the author thinks they should look like would hurt that.
