a well stocked toy box: deal-sealer?

So I've noticed lately that even without ever being too explicit ("LOOK AT ALL MY SEX TOYS, D00DZ!") folks around me generally seem to understand that I'm pretty knowledgeable about sex, sex toys, etc. Former partners also seem to generate some buzz about the kinds of things I am into as well as what I have in stock, and it seems to pique the interest of potential sexual partners. A girl that I'm courting presently has expressed a lot of interest in my toys, my strap-on in particular.

My question is a two-parter:

1.) Does your "reputation" as some form of sexpert (assuming people around you know about your knowledge) ever help you out in the dating/play arena?
2.) Do the actual toys you own ever help you out or put you over the edge in the dating/play arena?

Thanks!

Well, I'm not currently dating so I couldn't say, but my friends are more than intrigued by me and a few of my male friends find me attractive - which I think is in part because of my toys/knowledge/willing ness to try things.

Sorry I didn't really answer your question!

not many people, if any, really come to me with questions or advice about sex stuff. I've never really had the toys to share with a new partner.

No, that does answer it I find that people that would perhaps normally not be as interested are very much so when they find out about toys/knowledge/open-mi ndedness. I'm just wondering if other people find that their relationship to toys helps them out in terms of their dating.

I wish I had known about sex toys before I married my husband.. I did but certainly not to this extent. Back then I only had insertable vibrators that I used solo, I wish I had known about pocket rockets, cock rings, etc! I can't even imagine what my sex life would have been like.

Such a good question!! I actually do "romance parties" so I've got a whole room of my house filled with sex toys, lubes, lotions, etc..

I continue to go back and forth on whether my extracurricular activities are something that should be promoted or downplayed in the dating world.

For those that know about my hobby, they have always thought "that's hot!" But those are also the guys who fall of the face of the earth after hooking up or only ever text at 2:02AM to watch a movie...

I'm looking for a "serious" relationship so I do not want my collection of toys to become a priority in a potential mate's mind. I'm looking for a man who will love me for me...not love me for my toy box.

So the majority of jokers I meet from online dating sites...think I sell candles They'll eventually find out I have a love for toys but that's not something I want to base a relationship on.

For me, it's well-stocked dungeon. And no, it isn't a "deal-sealer" since I'm only involved and only ever plan to be involved with one person for the rest of my life; but before her, it certainly was not either. People were more attracted to me because of my dominant personality and good looks, and because I had a reputation of being good in bed (of course, part of the reason why I was considered good in bed by people was because I knew what to do with what I had, like my whips, floggers, paddles).
