I'm not a flirt. At least I don't consider myself to be one.

I've had friends tell me I was flirting. But what they perceived to be flirting was just me being my usual goofy kidding self.

I don't flirt intentionally. Truthfully teasing, kidding and flirting all look the same to me.

But regardless of me, how can I tell if I'm actually being flirted with?

I have the same problem! A beautiful woman may have flirted with me tonight... or she might be straight. I find women so hard to read, even though I am one! Was she bearing her soul because she thinks I'm cool, or because she wants to sleep with me? Only time will tell!

I clue in on the body language more than the words and smiles. Are they leaning in to you, touching you a lot, winking, trying to make it more the tow of you in a crowd vs. a group--stuff like that. And then there is blatant....A lot of times I smile and ask if they are flirting....

I've been told that I was a bit of a flirt also, but didn't realize I was doing that. I also have a very hard time recognizing when a woman is flirting with me. I have alot of just female friends that I feel like flirt with me at times, but I don't know if it just them being friendly/nice or actually coming on to me. How can I tell the difference. I once asked a lady out for dinner that always seemed to be flirting with me, only to find out that she was married but didn't wear her ring. I was so embarrassed!

I can remember once, back in like seventh or eighth grade, someone told me I'd been leading someone else on. I was completely clueless, and still am to this day - I have no idea why they thought I was flirting or teasing.
