Who's more attractive: you or your partner?

In my current relationship, I am more attractive (I think). I have had relationships where my partner was more attractive, though. I don't generally "choose" someone based on their attractiveness compares to myself.

We're both gorgeous. Him slightly more-so however.

From many couples I see the girl is more attractive and the guy has personality flaws to boot. Ideally couples should feel matched and I should have left "equally attractive" or "appearance doesn't really matter" as an option.

I'm unsure of how to answer this. I'm nothing to look at, though he's of a different opinion. Though he's not popularly attractive, I think he is adorably cute.

We met on a dating site, so appearance did play a role ... he contacted me first with the line "I think curvy redheads in glasses are sexy." I didn't pay much attention to his profile before that because of his receding hairline ... but I've grown accustomed to it and it really suits him; a lot of hair would make him look too young.

So, we're attractive to each other. No one else would think one or the other is more than, but many have commented that we "look right" for each other.

I go for guys that I find extremely attractive. I prefer for them to rate above me on the scale, though typically they will tell me that I rate higher than them, and I disagree with that.
