Cool weather means more massage oil and candles for you and your SO?

Contributor: P'Gell P'Gell
My Man and I have found that we love massage oils and massage candles, especially the JimmyJane Afterglow candles and Hathor Love Oil. But, warm weather is sticky enough, and we were using these much less, and going with dry massages or the Hitachi for muscle aches all summer. It was so hot this summer.

Now, with cool weather back, we're back with the oils! Last night I gave him a wonderful massage with our JimmyJane Absinthe and Sugar Water Massage Candle and a few nights ago we gave massages with our Bourbon candle from JimmyJane. Hathor gets her nights, too. Especially when someone has tight muscles or spasms.

Also, as it is darker longer in the morning, we have more time for massage in the dark as well as my favorite, sex in the dark after or even before the massage.

Do you find yourself using these more in the winter months?

The answers are multiple choice, so you may choose more than one.

I use the JimmyJane candle oil to moisturize my feet and elbows and stuff in the winter. It's so thick it really works well. I did it last night, after I was basically alone after My Man conked out during his massage. I had put my Liberator Wedge on his legs, leaned back on it and and massaged him with my feet (after he complained that the Contour M was "too hard") and when he fell asleep, I used the remaining oil to do the parts of me which are getting dry from the cooler weather.

Even the aroma of these candles remind of of fall and winter.

Llamas.

*shakes head* Llamas and their kinky Crisco fetishes.

I give massages year round, but tend to only use massage candles in the winter. It's too damn hot in Texas during the summer for that!

I always have to use oil. I'm pretty picky about what oil I will use too. I guess when it's your job you get to be a snob about it though lol

Candles aren't allowed in the dorm so we have to stick to the oils! The candles would be so wonderful when it gets cold out, though!

We have a nice stove that creates alot of heat in our house that we leave fired up over the winter. Which is perfect for getting naked and massaging each other. We fire up a movie and break out the massage table and go to town.

That's too bad! Candles are so enjoyable in the winter! I'm about to say what they don't know can't hurt them, but my guy had his taken away from him in a surprise inspection. I'm not sure if it's worth risking it, I was lucky enough that mine had been away in a drawer and hadn't been seen/taken! (If I had known I probably wouldn't have left the candle with him, just to be on the safe side)

Oh you should also try massage bars if you could find them, they melt in your hand.

I love giving massages but usually don't use outright oils, but bars and candles are fun. I don't receive massages very often though
