I can feel his nails when he lets them grow too much. So yes, I need them clipped and smooth.

I would like for their nails to be trimmed, but I don't check them beforehand to make sure it's done.

I only check them if he's been working on the car to make sure that he's gotten his hands as clean as they can be before going inside of me at all. But he does a pretty good job of keeping them clean and short on his own.
