First let me say, I wasn't sure where to put this post but anyways,

I see a lot of the S/M talk on here. That is sub/slave/bottom, Master/Mistress/Top/Do m. But I have yet to see talk about Switches. Is it that Switches are rare? Or that what a Switch is is not known?

A Switch is sub to some and Dom to others, depending on who he/she are with and their moods. Has anyone heard of Switches? What are your thoughts?

Yes, there are plenty of switches around here, I am sure. I consider myself a switch, though I am predominantly dominant. I would say 85/15 dom/sub for me. There are very few people that could make me submissive, or to whom I naturally feel submissive. Every once in a while, I do have those needs. Most of the time though, I want to be the one in charge

I only learned the term when I joined Fetlife actually. Pretty recently.

I was asking because I consider myself a Switch as well. I just don't hear about them often. I am so glad you replied

I'm a switch, leaning on the submissive side.

It's all about people and my relationships with them. Some men I want to be dominated by, some men I want to dominate, very rarely I find someone i'd like to do both with.

Yeah I don't think I have ever found someone I wanted to do both with, either.

I am a switch. I am a bi woman. 99% of the time I want to Dominate women and sub for men. There are exceptions, but they are rare.

i've never heard of a switch. im with one guy right now, and we like to take turns being dominate/submissive

I've never done bdsm but,I think that I might be a switch.I'm not sure because I haven't practiced either role.I feel like I'm more dominant.I think some switch are as confused as I am but,I admire those who can switch well.

I'm not really confused about it because when I am with a man, I am very submissive. But when I am with a woman, I cannot be submissive at all..I am not tempted to be, wish to be or anything like that. When with a woman, I want the control.
